Team and account Team members and roles
Team members and roles
Invite your team with a link, give each person a role, and set what an Agent may do.
What it does
Everyone on your team has one of four roles. The Owner has full control of the account and billing. An Admin manages members and settings. An Agent answers chats and sends payment requests. A Viewer can read but not reply.
The Roles and access table shows what each role can do. The Owner can also set the order limits and what an Agent may do.

How to use it
- Open Settings and choose Team members. Only an Owner or an Admin can invite people.
- Press Invite member. Choose the role, how long the link stays valid (1, 7 or 30 days) and, if you like, a label to remember who it is for.
- Press Generate link. Copy the link, or press Send via WhatsApp.
- The new person opens the link, signs up or signs in, and joins as that role.
- Under Pending invitations, press Revoke to cancel a link.
- To remove someone, press Remove next to their name and confirm.
- Open the Roles and access tab to see the table. As the Owner, set the smallest and largest order, the products in one order, the quantity of one product, the Agent discount limit, whether an Agent may enter a custom amount, and the largest request for Agents. Press Save.
Example for a business
The owner of an agency invites two sales people as Agents and a manager as an Admin. Agents can send a payment request for a booking amount up to a limit the owner chose, with a discount of up to 5 percent. The manager can invite another agent when the agency grows.
Good to know
- The invite link is shown only once. If you lose it, revoke it and make a new one.
- Removed people are signed out of this account. Their login is not deleted.
- Buttons a role cannot use are greyed out, with the note Your role cannot do this.
- Only the Owner can change the order limits, the Agent permissions, the Razorpay keys and billing.
- Only an Owner or an Admin can refund a payment or see the change log.
- The change log shows who changed what, newest first. Keys and secrets are never shown in it.
- The number of team members you can have depends on your plan.
