Orders and money Order automations
Order automations
Messages that are sent after an order is made, paid or failed, which you can edit like any other automation.
What it does
Order automations send the messages around a payment. They are normal automations, so you edit the wording in Automations. The Orders tab in Settings lists them with a switch for each.
Every business starts with four: Order received, Offer after payment, Payment failed follow up and Review request.

How to use it
- Open Settings and choose Orders. Find Order automations.
- Order received is on. It tags the customer Paid and thanks them with the order number and amount.
- Offer after payment is off. Press Open, write your own offer message, then switch it on. It is sent 5 minutes after payment.
- Payment failed follow up is off. It reminds the customer they can try again on the same link. Switch it on if you want it.
- Review request is off. See Review requests.
- Press Open on any of them to change the wording in Automations.
Example for a business
A photo studio
A photo studio keeps Order received on. It writes an offer for a free frame upgrade, and switches on Offer after payment. Five minutes after each booking is paid, the customer gets the offer.
Good to know
- The triggers are Order created, Payment received and Payment failed.
- If no automation is switched on after a payment, a plain thank you message is sent instead.
- An automation that needs wording or a template cannot be switched on until you write it or choose it first.
- Free text messages need the 24 hour chat window to be open.
- Deleting a default order automation does not bring it back.
- Only the Owner can switch these on or off.
